hi Northern have cryed off and we have been unable to organise another game for the teams so unfortuntely there is no rugby this afternoon at home /The first team game at Ponteland has been cancelled as well /all players can go to gym @ 2pm then out for refreshments/ ...

Congratulations to the six Alnwick U15 Girls (Lucy Smibert, Linzi Taylor, Jasmin Cockburn, Laura Leadbitter, Caitlin Wood and Jessica Young) who made the County squad for their game against Yorkshire this week-end. Special congratulations to Caitlin and Jessica who each scored 3 tries in the 36-5 win.
Sophie Brown also made the U18 squad but I haven't heard how they got on. ...

Retirement after 28 years

Many clubs have characters and stalwarts, but few could match the contribution that Alec Jeffrey has made to ARFC over the past 28 years. Alec has witnessed generations of players from behind the bar at the club, and he will be retiring in November.
